Fable (2027)

The next Fable game, a reboot by Playground Games, releases on February 23, 2027. Premium Edition owners get early access starting February 18, 2027.

Fable II is widely regarded as the best in the series, praised for its streamlined questing, moral choices, and world-building. Fable: The Lost Chapters (original Fable + expansion) runs a close second for its classic charm and deeper story.

Start with Fable: Anniversary (the remaster of the original) or Fable II. Both offer fantastic introductions to the series' humor, morality system, and action-RPG style, and they’re first in the timeline.

The original Fable (Fable: The Lost Chapters) and Fable III are available on PC. Fable: Anniversary (the HD remaster) and Fable III are on Steam. Fable II never officially came to PC.
