The 2026 Cincinnati Open, a combined ATP Masters 1000 / WTA 1000 event, runs August 8-23 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. August 16 late / August 17 early result: Seed No. 1 Alexander Zverev survived a tough three-setter against Cameron Norrie, winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 in a match that dragged past 2:15 AM local time at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, one of the latest finishes in recent Masters memory. Zverev recovered after dropping the opening set, broke Norrie decisively in the second and third, and advanced to face Terence Atmane in the third round. Atmane, the 23-year-old French-Algerian qualifier, was looking to continue one of the biggest runs of the 2026 summer.

August 17, Third Round (Round of 32) results: Zverev duly dispatched Atmane in another demanding two-set encounter, winning 7-6(4), 7-6(6), both sets requiring tiebreaks, to advance to the Round of 16.
