The context
BTS return to Paris for the first time in seven years, bringing the ARIRANG World Tour to Stade de France on July 17 and 18, 2026. The two-night run in the French capital is part of what is billed as the largest K-pop world tour in history: 79 concerts across 34 regions, covering stadiums across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
The ARIRANG album, released March 20, 2026, is BTS’s first full-group studio release since BE (2020), coming after the members completed mandatory South Korean military service and pursued solo careers. The name draws on ‘Arirang’, the traditional Korean folk song that is one of the country’s most resonant cultural symbols. The album’s arrival triggered one of the fastest concert ticket sell-outs in recent European history when tour dates were announced.
The staging is built around a 360-degree in-the-round configuration, a central performance platform ringed by a runway that extends deep into the 80,000-capacity floor, putting fans on every side of the action. The approach, pioneered for stadium shows by acts like U2 and Coldplay, is designed to collapse the distance between artist and audience in the largest arenas. Doors open at 4:30 PM on both nights; the show begins at approximately 7:30 PM (CEST). Fans are advised to arrive early given the scale of the security operation.
